My Photoshoot with Love & Light Photographs + New Website

Last year, I had some great experiences working with local creatives; filming events and workshops, schooling brides, and creating brand films for photographers and other small business owners. While there is a special place in my heart for wedding films, it was a huge difference in opportunity to have full creative control. I was able to brainstorm, make mistakes, and attempt things that typically I wouldn’t have time for. I loved it – when you’re a runner, its nice to get out and swim in the ocean every once in a while.

With this new found interest came a lot of logistical questions when it came to a new website. How would I showcase firstly, myself, but more importantly these new “brand movement films”? How could I show small business owners that they do (BIG) things for business? How would they fit alongside weddings?

In come two people I admire and respect, Jessa of love & light photographs and Ravyn of 315 design. With Jessa’s lifestyle photoshoot and Ravyn’s web design skills, we were able to create a new website for between sleep and awake – YAY. The photoshoot also brought to light that my husband and I like the color green, A LOT.

I’m ending with a photo of our adopted cat, Fern, who clearly wasn’t ready for his close-up.
